New Life- and our God Daughter

Our good friend Trish is expecting another baby who will arrive in less than a week! Her firstborn is our precious God Daughter Lianna- she is beautiful and sweet and we just adore her! Her new little brother will be named Braylen, and we are all dying to get our hands on him!
I shot a maternity session with Trish last night so she would have photos of her adorable pregnant self (and dang, she is too adorable!. I posted a big set on my photography blog- www.lifesongphotographybymel.com but couldn't resist sharing some here as well. Here are just a handfull of my favorites!

Aiden & Brady!

My adorable nephews are the feature of this blog post- they are too stinking adorable for words! We got to spend some time together today while we planted flowers at the cemetary, went to the green house, and ate lunch together. I got some precious shots of the boys and I have to share them!!! Also is a pic of Ashlyn & Mom, a cute one of Mom, and one of eggs in a nest we found at the greenhouse today! It was so cool.

There was some delishous sunlight this evening and I just had to take advantage of it. Ellie was a very willing participant- she loves the camera as much as Ashlyn does! Here are my favorites of the evening..... (oh, and if these look a little soft, it's because I was trying out a new filter- and where you see sun flare, it is completely intentional!!!)

My beauties.....

Have I mentioned a time or two how thrilled I am to have my camera back? Yes? Well I will say it again and again....I LOVE IT! My girlies were out playing the other night while Daddy and Jake were at wrestling practice. They were being so adorable I grabbed my camera and started snapping. Of course as soon as Ashlyn saw the camera she stopped playing and started posing. That's my girl! Anyway, here are some shots of Ash, one of Ellie, and a couple really sweet photos of Daisy.
By the way, having Daisy in the family couldn't be going better! She is such a good girl, listens really well (for the most part), no potty accidents, loves on us all, and the kids ADORE her! :)

Can I get a witness?

Eric surprised me with the BEST gift! He got 2 front row tickets for last night's Cavs playoff game vs. the Atlanta Hawks. I took my friend Wendy along. We had a BLAST- spent all day shopping, eating (some divine cheesecake at the Cheesecake Facotry!) and then screamed and cheered at the Cavs game. It was amazing!
